At Accenture, I have worked for multiple clients to enhance their user experience. I create interactive, complex, and beautiful prototypes and designs using Figma, and I conduct user research and user interviews to better understand business and user issues and desires. My goal is to help clients create an easy to use, visually appealing, and valuable product.

Designed and oversaw the user experience from inception to production for a tablet/mobile application used by hundreds of field workers to improve the reliability of energy to 3M+ retail customers in the Midwest and West.

Background I worked with a utilities company to modernize their field workers' processes for conducting planned inspections, reporting issues, collecting information, and responding to emergencies concerning electric and gas assets. Transitioning from pen and paper to a user-friendly, fully integrated tablet and mobile application, my design work is part of a larger digital and data transformation. This transformation and company overhaul includes building databases, merging subsidiary companies, and training field workers on the new application.
What I created I designed and developed interactive prototypes using Figma to illustrate various inspections and user interactions, such as reporting issues and conducting repairs. Central to the experience are an interactive map displaying assets and issues and responsive data collection forms. Each inspection experience varied slightly depending on specific regulations and available data for each asset. While the core user experience remained consistent across inspections, details such as data types collected, verbiage, photo requirements, and regulatory mandates differed based on the asset being inspected or reported. Maintaining accuracy and cohesiveness required meticulous attention to detail.

I also established and maintained a comprehensive design system for the application. This involved creating standardized components for various inspection types and app functionalities, ensuring a consistent, user-friendly interface that aligns with the company’s brand.

I regularly collaborated with the client to iterate and enhance the application's user experience and visual design and to define inspection requirements. Working closely with developers, I ensured the technical feasibility of my designs and accurate mapping of collected data in the database for seamless integration with other user interfaces and applications.

As the go-live date approached, I meticulously documented the application's functionality and created step-by-step guides for conducting inspections and collecting data using the application. Additionally, I co-led user training sessions with field managers to familiarize them with the new digital workflow, empowering them to train their teams with confidence.
